Hi AIMMS Community,
This is Juan writing, Ph.D. student at Deakin University. We are looking for a player who wants to join our team to compete with us in the MOPTA Competition 2022.
Who are we looking for?
- Someone passionate about optimisation, no matter his level skill level, we can assign the activities to perform according your skills.
- Someone who speaks English, but if you do not, if you speak Spanish, Portuguese or Chinese, we might make it work.
- Someone who is full time student during the 2021-2022 spring term.
- Someone who has at least between 5 and 10 hours/week available to dedicate to the competition from the 1st April 2022 to the 15th May 2022
Who is our team?
Name: MAFALDAS.
Why?
- We have two ladies in our team and we want to honour them with a female name (find more about Mafalda here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mafalda)
- MAFALDA is a symbol of peace
- MAFALDAS in plural because we are based in Australia, and Aussies like naming their teams in plural. i.e. the Aussie women soccer team is called Matildas.
