I have proposed the same feature as product idea, as I think it would be very valuable. Since it might take a while to release, in the meantime, is there any way to style the mutliselect through css to mimic the same behavior?

Hi community,I’ve noticed that the WebUI filtering applied to table widgets persists through AIMMS PRO sessions (even if they are closed). Is this filtering user dependent and is there a way to reset this default filtering of a deployed AIMMS PRO app?Thanks!Dani

I was wondering if it is possible to change the shape of the node on the map from a circle to something different, e.g. a square or triangle? I am already using color coding to indicate allocation of store locations to warehouses, the shape is intended to differentiate between 3 different types of stores.Using of icons or alterntative stroke colors doesn't really work, because the nodes need to be quite small. But I am also interested in any other suggestions to make it work.Thanks!

Hello,  I would like to create a project with AIMMS about transport problems. All my figures are in an excel table. How can I rearrange my table for use in AIMMS?  I have successfully added the AIMMS tool to my Excel spreadsheet.  Thank you in advance.

What are some best practices to develop WebUI’s to consider a user who has their screen set to say 125% magnification in Windows? Am I stuck with just changing my screen magnification to see the results?

Hi all, playing around a bit more with the webui and having some more questions.I want to create a dialog page where the user can upload a couple of files and give the name of the scenario into which these input files should be loaded (potentially some other text based input). In the original winUI, I would create something like this (as example what I want to achieve): Now I am trying to achieve this with a dialog page in the webui, but when I want to add a scalar, I get the following: Where I think there is way too much emphasis on this scalar value. I can make use of the experimental feature of compact scalars, but then it looks weird with scroll bars. Also not sure if I can modify the size of the ‘header’ (label showing now spNewScenarioName) and the actual input field: I think the closest I can get this is creating a table with either scalars, or making a set with ‘headers’ to be put in the labels and create an indexed string parameter over this. It seems the data-widget.uri selector for the selectionbox widget can only be accessed in the div of the code that manages the non-dropdown options.  The div that controls the dropdown options is farther down and does not have the data-widget.uri selector available. How can I change the styling of the fonts in the dropdown box if I want to change them for exactly ONE selectionbox widget only?

I created a very simple pie chart using a parameter with one index with 2 elements, named “Actual and “Penalty”.I was expected that the pie chart showed me the names “actual” and “penalty” inside the wedges, like shown in the article: https://documentation.aimms.com/webui/pie-chart-widget.html I also tried an elementtextidentifier to the set I use, although I would expect this does not make sense since the element are already named.I can’t find anything related in the pie diagram options or do I miss something?

Hi, In the map widget there is the option to set Dynamic Arc Width, could you explain a bit more on how it works? E.g. like is it a min-max scaler? Background for asking is that in small examples/models it works reasonably well, but in ‘bigger’ examples it flattens out a lot and the arc sizes are in our case not really visually differentiating. If we understand a bit more behind the scaling, we could maybe make some fine-tuning to get the visual representation we would like to see.

I’m getting crazy proficient in changing my colors of stuff, but there’s one thing that I’m still missing. If I’m not specific in my annotations, WebUI will default to the factory color palette. How can I change my default color palette to be my client’s branding color palette?    Here are the WebUI standard colors. Granted, they’re pretty, but I need to be able to have properly branded colors.  

Hi there! I was wondering whether the behavior of the select all/select none buttons in e.g. the multiselect widget can be adjusted easily. I often use the search bar to get to a subset of my elements which are relevant for selection, which I would like to (de-) select with one click. I would expect that the select all/none button in this case only affects the subset which matches my search. On the contrary, these buttons are overruling whatever you type in the search bar, applying the (de-) selection on all elements, making it more cumbersome to apply “mass selections” on convenient subsets. Is this something you are working on?

The only resource I can find that explains how to do a form is this post from March of 2016. It seems the newest WebUI doesn't quite work this way. Is there a link to the actual way the forms work? And can you link that in that blog post so that others can more easily get to it? Thanks!

As you know, cell values are shown black when they are read-only and blue otherwise as given below. I would like to be able to set a specific text color, regardless of whether it is read-only or not. I wonder if there is a way to do it?P.S. I know we can change the background color in a cell with annotation but there are times where I need to change both the background color and the text color.

I am trying to understand if I am running into a bug or intended behavior in the coloring of the bar chart widget…. I have three sets:StoragePositions Days ProductsI have a parameter supply that is defined over these three setsFurthermore, I have a an element parameter that allows me to select a specific storage position in the GUI. If the supply is only provided for one product, the bars in the widget show different colors (which is NOT what I would expect, because I set  the product index in the grouped, or stacked, same behavior) part of the pivot in the widget settings: If there is one more other product during the time horizon with a non-zero supply value, the colors are indeed calculated per product instead of every bar having its own:  This is the coloring I would expect (and in the first image I would expect all of the 5 bars to be of the same color). Is there something I am missing in my own logic or is this a bug in the coloring within AIMMS? Attached the small demo project t

Hello everyone!Is it possible to remove the default stroke color (black) when user clicks or selects any node/location which has already defined stroke color? This is so that the customized stoke colors (defined in model) for the nodes remain functional even when any node is selected. I see customized stroke colors appear back when clicked twice on any node.In my case, by clicking on any location, the stroke colors are turned off and default stroke color black turns on. By clicking on same location again, we can see all stroke colors for potential locations(orange) and optimal location(red). I’m looking for help to extracting the first and last value of a given list. I have a binary parameter L(p,i) which will be given varios list of data.For example:List p=1: i=1 → 0i=2 → 1i=3 → 1i=4 → 0List p=2:i=1 → 1i=2 → 0i=3 → 1i=4 → 1I’m looking for a command which will extract the first i which is set to 1 on a given list. In this Example for the list p=1 it would be i=2 and for the list p=2 it would be i=1.I’m also looking for a command which will extract the last i which is set to 1 on a given list. In this example for the list p=1 it would be i=3 and for the list p=2 it would be i=4.I tried the “First” and “Last” command which always lead to using i=1 (for the command “First”) even though in the example p=1 the value of i=1 is 0 and not 1.Any help would be appreciated. 

I tried to set my Gantt-chart to readonly, such that users would not be able to move any tasks on the Gantt-chart. Unfortunately I cannot find neither this option in WebUI nor in any AIMMS Manual. Could you help me to set it up? Thanks !

Hi AIMMS support! I have noticed that for the Workflow Panel and for the Status Bar there are pre-declared sets for indication of the order of the workflow steps (webui::indexWorkflowOrder) and status bar messages (webui::indexApplicationExtension) respectively. But for the Side Panel and the Widget Action the developer needs to declare such a set (as a subset of integers) in each model. In my point of view it will be better to work with per-declared sets for all these objects, also makes it easier to copy sections between different models. Are there plans to add these pre-declared sets for the workflow and status in the future releases? Thanks, Tanya

Hi. How can I change the text "SELECT ALL" and "SELECT NONE" within the multiselect widget? We tried the translation property (resources > translations > .properties), both upper- and lowercase but it didn't work. Thanks!
