AIMMS is pleased to announce that the Gurobi Optimizer can now be used on applications running on the AIMMS Cloud Platform - thanks to Gurobi’s new Web License Service (WLS). This expands the choice of solvers you have across AIMMS products and is part of our ongoing efforts to add more algorithmic capability features.
What do you need to use Gurobi on the AIMMS Cloud?
You need to purchase a Gurobi Web License Service (from Gurobi) and the Gurobi-link extension on the AIMMS Cloud. Please contact us at info@aimms.com if you are interested in buying or trying this out.
How do you activate and configure Gurobi WLS on the AIMMS Cloud?
Once you have your Gurobi WLS, you can connect to it through a few simple adjustments in your AIMMS model code. For more information, please see the AIMMS Cloud Platform documentation.
