Export the AIMMS file to Excel

Hi guys,

I’m a student from the university of HEC in Belgium and I need your help for one project that I’m working on for one of my courses.

In fact, I have received a database from Excel that I have exported on AIMMS (which has been done succesfully). Then I’ve realized my parameters, constraints, … in order to optimize the function that the teacher gave to us.

But now, the teacher expects to us to export the AIMMS file to Excel to realize our analysis (so once all the values have been computed, we have to export these numbers to Excel in order to analyze these numbers) and I don’t understand how can I export the AIMMS file to the Excel.

Can you please, try to help me?

You will have to use something like the AXLL library and some AIMMS code to write the contents of specific parameters / variables to ranges on sheets.

Depending on the type of output needed, you can also use the aimms Data Exchange (DEX) library for output to excel.
