We are excited to announce the release of WebUI Library version 26.11.1!
This release brings several enhancements and improvements to WebUI.
Here’s a brief overview of what’s new:
🚀 Experimental Features promoted to Release Candidate
Several WebUI features have been available as experimental features for some time and have already seen adoption by a number of customers. These include:
Over time, we have received valuable feedback, support tickets, and bug reports from customers using these features. The WebUI team has addressed the reported issues and continued to improve their stability and usability.
As a result, these features have now reached a mature and stable state. With this release, they are enabled by default and have been promoted to Release Candidate status.
We will continue gathering feedback as we work towards promoting these features to fully supported status in Q4 2026.
⚠️ Important for existing applications using Limited Option Editor
- With End User Widget Controls enabled, the older Limited Option Editor option becomes obsolete. It is removed from the Miscellaneous tab, and any value previously configured there is ignored.
- If your application relied on Limited Option Editor to restrict the option editor categories accessible to end users, you must reconfigure those restrictions using End User Widget Controls. Until you do so, all option editor categories will be accessible to your end users by default.
🎨 Dynamic CSS Styling
WebUI applications can now update their CSS styling dynamically at runtime.
Previously, application-specific CSS was applied when an application was published. With the new Dynamic CSS Styling capability, applications can change their styling after publication and apply those changes immediately, without requiring an end-user page refresh.
This provides greater flexibility for applications that need to adapt their appearance dynamically based on the current use case or application state.

📊 Gantt Chart V2 – Block Selection
The Gantt Chart V2 widget continues to evolve with improved task-selection capabilities.
Following the recent addition of Ctrl+Click for selecting multiple tasks, you can now select a group of tasks using click-and-drag block selection.
You can also:
- Drag across multiple tasks to select them as a group.
- Hold Ctrl while dragging to select multiple, non-contiguous groups.
- Automatically scroll vertically while dragging to select tasks outside the currently visible area.
These improvements make selecting and working with larger sets of tasks faster and more intuitive.

🐛 Customer-Reported Improvements
We have also addressed several issues reported by our customers, further improving the stability, reliability, and overall experience of WebUI applications.
We’re excited about these improvements and believe this release is another step towards making WebUI applications more flexible, powerful, and easier to use.
