Pages in Library (PiL) is a powerful new feature designed to boost productivity, enable collaborative development, and promote the reuse of your best AIMMS WebUI designs across projects.
What Is Pages in Library?
Traditionally, WebUI pages are tightly bound to individual projects. Pages in Library changes that by allowing you to create and store interface pages within a library—independent of any specific project. This means you can build polished, functional interfaces once and reuse them across multiple applications. Better yet, since these pages are decoupled from the main project, any updates to the library can be propagated across all projects using it, dramatically simplifying maintenance and upgrades.

Why Does It Matter for Developers?
This feature marks a significant leap in development efficiency. Imagine building a reusable scenario manager or interface templates complete with tables, CRUD operations, filters, and smart UX elements—once. With PiL, you can import these elements into any new project and hit the ground running. It cuts down development time, ensures consistency, and makes your team’s work more scalable and maintainable.
A Familiar Feature for WinUI Users
For longtime AIMMS users, this will feel like a return of a much-missed capability from WinUI. It’s a highly requested feature, especially from those transitioning to WebUI. Pages in Library not only bridges the gap but also enhances the functionality with a modern, scalable approach that supports the move to WebUI more smoothly.
