Hi, is it possible to define a complex variable in AIMMS?

No, AIMMS does not support complex variables, you have to write it out in real and imaginary components. Similarly, if you have constraints in complex variables, this will give rise to two real-valued constraints, one for the real and one for the imaginary part.
