Gurobi 12.0 has been recently released. In our eyes the most important enhancements are the performance improvements and support for (global) nonlinear optimization for models with integer variables (MINLP) or without (NLP). 

AIMMS 24.6 will contain a new version of our ‘Gurobi link’ that allows you benefit from these Gurobi 12.0 enhancements with your AIMMS projects. 

Important Notice on Global Nonlinear Optimization
Global nonlinear optimization involves identifying the absolute best solution across a complex solution space, often containing multiple local optima. This process is inherently more challenging than local nonlinear optimization, which focuses on finding the best solution within a specific region of the space. As a result, global optimization may require more sophisticated algorithms, computational resources, and time to achieve reliable results. Please keep these factors in mind when using a global optimization solver like Gurobi.
