We're releasing our new and improved Math Program Generator (MPG), designed to accelerate the generation of LP and MIP models in AIMMS 24.6.

Key Features and Benefits:

• Performance Boost: On average, expect 2x faster generation times for LP and MIP models. The impact on total solve time will depend on the model and the data.
• Compatibility Assurance: The new MPG automatically checks your model's compatibility. In cases where it's not supported, such as with Stochastic Programming and Robust Optimization, it'll seamlessly revert to the old MPG, alerting you (only the app developer, not the end user) with a warning.
• Flexible Opt-Out: If needed, you can easily disable the new MPG globally or for specific solve requests, giving you full control.

• Our extensive testing across hundreds of models showed unchanged results with the new MPG.
• All future AIMMS versions will be equipped with the new MPG.
• End-users will not be notified about the MPG switch; we aim for a smooth and invisible transition, with you at the helm.
