Hello everybody,I have a little question regarding an optimization problem. In the problem I define my binary variables by use of two sets (matrix). Rows: Set 1, Columns: Set 2.The first set contains different parts (Set1 contains: Part 1, Part 2, Part 3… and so on)The second set contains different variants for each part (Set 2 contains: Version 1, Version 2, Version 3 and so on).The definition of the indices is no problem. Later in the model I want to use not the whole Matrix (Set1 X Set2) but just a Single vector. For example the vector should have the size of Set 1, and of Set 2 just the colum Version 2. So in the constraint I just want to use the yellow colum. Is this possible or do I have to define for every Element of Set 2 an own Set?
Hey everybody,I have a small question. Is it possible to define a parameter in relation to a Variable.I want to use this parameter in a Constraint. For example If the optimization variable is 5 - the parameter has to take the value 1.8.If the variabel is 2, the parameter has to have the value 1.3.I guess most likely it is possible to use a if- or switch-Function, but I am not sure…Can I load a table with these parameters in Aimms, so that he can give the parameter the right value, or are their any other ways to do this? Thanks a lot in advance!
Hey Guys,I have a small problem by modeling my MILP.I created a Matrix do define some Binary Variables. Now I want to create a constraint, which contains a multiplication between the Matrix of the Variables an a Matrix with some parameters. The result should be a scalar value comparable to the sumproduct-function in Excel. I want to do a multiplication between the matrices an the result should be a scalar?Hopefully there is a simple function in Aimms to solve my problem.I am thankful for every help!Best regardsSimon
