To join a group and subscribe to group activity, click the “Join group” button at the top of a group page.Note: If you aren’t logged in, you’ll be prompted. How to create a job postF.A.Q.
Members are welcome to post ads for jobs related to AIMMS, OR, and similar skills on our Jobs board.(You can also advertise your skills if you are looking for a job!) Create a post from the button in the top right corner of any Community page. If you aren’t logged in, you’ll be prompted to do so. Create a new account or log in. Select “conversation” as the post type. Add a title that describes what you’re hiring for, and use the body to add your job description (or link to it). Don’t forget to specify how you candidates to apply. Select “Jobs board” as the subforum, and add any relevant subject or skills tags. Click “Create” - that’s all!

We’re happy to announce our new and revamped Ideation space. Like the new Product Updates module, this new section allows you to filter ideas per product area. You’ll also find it easier to search for ideas with handy filters for each status (new, discussion ongoing, in development, implemented, and not implemented).As always, we encourage you to share your feature requests and improvement ideas. Be sure to search before posting an idea in case another customer has posted the same request. [h3]Tag other community members[/h3] You can tag another user to notify them of a post. To tag a user, type the @ symbol, and begin typing their username. As you type, a list of matches appears where you can select the user you want to tag. When you submit your post, they will receive a notification of the tag and a link to the post. [h3]Follow community members[/h3] When you notice a member whose posts are often helpful or interesting, you can follow them to receive notifications of their activity. Click their user name to go to their User profile and click Follow member. [h3]Sending private messages[/h3] You may contact another member with a private message if they have enabled this feature. Click their user name to go to their User profile and click Send message.

[h3]Thread and subforum subscriptions[/h3] When you subscribe to a topic or subforum, you will receive notifications whenever there is new activity. You can unsubscribe by visiting the post or forum again and clicking Unsubscribe. [h3] [/h3][h3]When you are mentioned in a post[/h3] Other users can tag you in a post to get your attention. If you don’t want to receive notifications when you are tagged, go to your profile settings. [h3] [/h3][h3]When you participate in a thread[/h3] When you participate in a thread you will receive a notification for the next reply in that topic, but you will not receive notifications of any further replies unless you visit that page again. Every time you visit the page, while logged in, the system resets your participation and you will receive a notification of only the next reply. This prevents you from getting “spammed” about topics you didn’t subscribe to. This setting cannot be changed. If you want to receive notifications for all replies to that

To change your password while logged in: [list] [*]Click on your avatar image in the top right and click [i]Settings.[/i] [*]Go to the [i]Password[/i] tab and follow the instructions on the form. [*]Click [i]Save changes[/i]. [/list] If you don’t know your password, you can click [i]Forgot password?[/i] on the login page and use the form to receive an email with instructions to reset your password.
You can add an image to your profile, known as an avatar. It will appear on your profile page and next to your user name when you post or reply. [list] [*]When logged in, click on your avatar image in the top right and click [i]Settings.[/i] [*]Go to the [i]Profile picture[/i] field and click [i]Edit.[/i] [*]Locate the desired image on your computer and click [i]Open.[/i] [*]You can zoom and reposition the part of the image you want to appear in the frame. Then click [i]Apply[/i]. [*]Scroll to the bottom of Settings and click [i]Save changes[/i]. [/list]
You can some add information about yourself as a signature to appear the bottom of all your posts or replies. [list] [*]Click on your avatar image in the top right and click [i]Settings.[/i] [*]Go to the [i]Forum signature[/i] field at the bottom and enter your desired signature. [*]Scroll to the bottom of Settings and click [i]Save changes[/i]. [/list]
When logged in to AIMMS Community, click your avatar at the top right of the page, next to [i]Create Topic[/i]. Click [i]My profile[/i] to view information that is visible to the Community. To edit your information, click [i]Edit profile[/i]. [list] [*]In the [i]My profile[/i] tab you can edit your avatar, personal information, and signature. [*]Click [i]Settings[/i] to edit display and notification information. [*]The [i]Password[/i] tab allows you to update your password. [/list] Be sure to click [i]Save changes[/i] when you are finished.
When context is needed, you may want too quote a post from another user in your reply. Click the [i]Quote[/i] button at the bottom of the post or reply you want to reference. The quoted post will be auto-filled in a reply field. Add your message and click [i]Reply[/i] to post it.
As a community member you can subscribe to topics that interest you to get updates when new posts are added. [h3]Subscribing to threads[/h3] To subscribe to a thread, click on the star at the bottom of the original post. The community will send you an email whenever a new reply is added. To unsubscribe from a post, click the blue Subscribe button at the bottom of the post. It will become grayed out to indicate you are no longer subscribed. [h3]Subscribing to subforums[/h3] If there’s an area where many posts interest you, you can subscribe to an entire subforum. Click the Subscribe button on the top right of the page, below the heading. The community will send you an email whenever a new post is added to this area of the community. To unsubscribe from a subforum, click Unsubscribe in the top right.
Edit or delete your postF.A.Q.
After making a post, you may find an error that needs to be corrected, or want to add more information. Under your post, where the Like, Quote, and Subscribe buttons are, you will see an overflow menu (…) on the right. [list] [*]Hover on the overflow icon (...) to view a drop-down menu. [*]Click Edit. An editing box appears where you can edit your text. [*]Click Save when you are finished. [/list] If you would like to delete your post for some reason, please reach out to a moderator for help. As a general rule, we prefer not to delete posts unless there is a clear reason.
