AIMMS emerged 30 years ago to bring the benefits of optimization to society. The internet was in its infancy back then. As many of you know, our original UI was made for Windows, which meant that end users would need to use the Windows operating system in their computers to run AIMMS Apps. As time passed and the internet came of age, we realized that to truly democratize the power of optimization, AIMMS needed to be in the browser.
That’s why we decided to develop the AIMMS WebUI, a tool that helps you build optimization apps in a browser, on any device, and create a web-based user interface for end users. Our decision to build the WebUI coincided with the launch of AIMMS PRO, which also made the deployment of AIMMS Apps more seamless.
