As a end user (role) I need the ability to export graphics as images or pdf documents (functionality) , so I can make a presentation with the results of optimization (goal).Graphs refer to the following WebUI widgets:Bar Chart Widget Bar-Line Chart Widget Bubble Chart Widget Gantt Chart Widget Line Chart Widget Pie Chart Widget Tree Map WidgetCurrent workflow:Key widgets defined by end users are duplicated in WinUI and exported to pdf using standard AIMMS functionality bound to widget action or screenshots are taken.Looking forward to discuss this topic!
For table widget, it would be good to have an export in pdf format that can be structured in AIMMS.Now there is only an option to export to csv.
I would like to thank AIMMS developers for adding the new academic license delivery which removes the requirement to be always on an academic domain. However, this new license system comes with some minor disturbances, which can be improved if developers agree with that. Everytime I open the AIMMS software, I need to accept the academic license agreement. It is frustrating to tick the box and accept everytime. It would be nice if the software remembers my choice and don't ask for this agreement everytime I open it. Before this new license delivery system, I was able to open the AIMMS by double clicking the icon. Now I need to first start the aimms luncher, choose my aimms version (I have only the latest), and then click on Lunch. Although, it looks straightforward but there are many unnecessary steps before starting the application. It would be nice if the application gets detached from the luncher, so I can quickly start it when I click on the icon. This can be done by adding an option in the AIMMS luncher app to provide a shortcut for the specific version. What do you think?
It would be great if AIMMS could have built-in drivetime calculation functionality. Specially useful for Network Design projects. Wondering if this is something which has already been though about or is in the pipeline.
In WinUI you have have two y-axis designations on a 2d chart - one for lines and one for bars. Can we have that, please? In theory it sounds pretty easy. I'm hoping it will be easy in practice as well. :D Thanks!
Hi! I would like to know if it is possible to open an excel worksheet template and copy a sheet using axll library. Currently, I think only these functions are available: We aim to use this function to pre-format some columns with colors. Thanks!
Hi, The set “AllRegularPages” contains a parameter “CurrentRegularPage”, in the comment of this set the following is mentioned:“The element parameter CurrentRegularPage can be used to identify the pageId the user is on currently. ”So, I would expect that “CurrentRegularPage” is filled with the ID of the page which is open in the WebUI. However, this parameter is empty in my project. Is this a bug or should I use this parameter in a different way?Regards,Olmo
Often I need to experiment to see if I CAN do something before I actually attempt to do it in a more complex project. Thus I've slowly been developing an EVERYTHING project that could ultimately have a little bit of every feature AIMMS has. It has some bogus data that allows me to get dirty with the code. I know y'all have many examples that demo different features, but is there one example project that has it all? Especially for WebUI features? That would be so helpful not just in experimenting, developing and debugging, but also for demo purposes to clients and potential clients.
Currently to create a selection widget from a set, you have to use the element parameter of that set. It'd sure be nice to be able to use a string parameter to display instead of the elements themselves. I wanted to use the _text method, but apparently that's only for Gantt charts. Basically we'd like the same functionality that exists in WinUI for the "Element Text" tab of the Selection Object Properties. Or something equivalent. Thanks!
