I have a question regarding the calendar. We have an old app implemented based on calendar, in which the hours within a day are expressed as 00 ~ 23. But now we need to change it to 01 ~ 24. Please let us know what the easiest way to do it.

Hi Community, I am trying to use the AIMMS RegexReplace function to trim the folder path and keep the data case name. Hello,I am working on a model and tried to use WebUI to analyze some results.However, when I tried to open the WebUI, the system says it failed to load all objects with the error message below. awf.data.aimms.session: Running requestGetIdentifierValues for [object Object] has resulted in an error: Unable to retrieve values for all identifiers (code=400) I re-started the AIMMS project, but it didn’t help.Anyone know potential reason for this error?It would be very appreciated. Thank you Best,

Hello, I want to show a user name automatically for every person that uses my model, for example when Jim opens he aimms project, I want the model to detect it’s Jim and  save it in parameter and show it in page my question is how can we detect user infos when the model is opened ?  Thank you

Hi all,I found the setting to use an intial solution in AIMMS for Gurobi, however, how and where do you efficiently add this initial solution in AIMMS? Can I export an AIMMS output and read it again to use as the intial value? Hello,I am trying to use database procedure function to extract some data from a HANA view database.Unfortunately, table name has dots (“.”), so it seems like AIMMS cannot parse it for SQL query properly. For example, the table name is something like xx.yy.zz/pp, where you can see some dots between xx, yy, and zz.  Can you help us to figure out proper syntax to write sql query with this type of name?Thank you!  

Hi Team,I am trying to solve a furnace loading problem. There are 60 items to be loaded over the furnaces. The number of furnaces are 32 where 16 of them are identical in nature and other 16 are identical in nature. I have modeled it as MIP problem with objective of capacity maximization in terms of weights. Model is giving correct answer but I am facing run time issues, due to the exponential complexity model is taking longer time to solve (almost more than 1 hour). Note that I have created virtual location inside the furnaces due to other constraints and I am also using some constraints to break the symmetry part. One way to reduce run time is to run it through loop but I do not want to use the loop. Is there any alternative way I can handle.  

Ideally, I need this information while running a procedure. I would like to assign it to a parameter. Is there maybe a constraint suffix that I could use to get this information? I’m thinking about something like this: ParameterValue := Constraint.binding

Hi all, I am modelling production routes per production order in which the production routes provide the sequence of the jobs to follow. I created a subset ProductionRoute(i) that is a subset of all possible jobs. See below a production order i that follows the sequence: SMD → AOI → REW. When implementing this in the subset and when running the model, it will follow the sequence AOI → REW → SMD since operations is stated ascending. Such as below.   Is there a possibility to model in AIMMS that it should follow the production route as stated  in the first figure? Instead of looking to the ascending order of the subset. 

Hi all, is there a way to save your project from a procedure (as can be done with cases: https://how-to.aimms.com/Articles/258/258-save-a-case-from-aimms-procedure.html)? If not, is it possible to let AIMMS automatically save the project each time a procedure is run?  

Hi all, I  try to implement the following index domain in a constraint but I get the error “,)” is expected. OperationsPOforJ(i) and OperationsPOforK(i) are two subsets of set OperationPOs. Am i making a typo or is it not possible to use two “in” functions in an index domain?

Hi everyone, We are using version 4.82.3.29.I have a parameter called VOLL, that has the (implicit quantity) unit €2010/MWh. I want this parameter to have the value 3000 €2010/MWh at model start-up, which can then be modified through the UI if desired. I figured this would be straightforward but it is giving me problems. If I select ‘Initial data’, and use the wizard to specify the value 3000, AIMMS inserts the following code:However, this immediately leads to an error! "The symbol "[" is not expected.” ... Using Initial Data = 3000; (so without the unit specified) leads to VOLL having the value '-nan(ind)' at model startup, and 0 after executing the procedure that reads our database (and it is unclear to me why this procedure would affect the VOLL value). I also tried to use the ‘Default’ field (it is not entirely clear to me what its purpose is as opposed to ‘Initial Data’). If I enter the value 3000 there, the parameter has the value ‘inf’ on model startup and '9.98892e+12' after re

Hi, for an application, the optimization does not work on the PRO environment anymore, there are no results shown. Hi,I am trying to create a variable in librarymodule2 which uses index based on sets declared in librarymodule1. It throws an error saying: “The index “lm1::i” is not present in the interface of Librarymodule “librarymodule1” and therefore cannot be referenced from within variable “lm2::var”. I am new to AIMMS but my colleagues have done this sort of thing many times and never encountered this error. It is not clear how to resolve this.  BestVikram 

Hello everyone. We are trying to change a specific identifier in our table to a button that opens a dialog page. It’s the last column within this table:   However, as you can see in the image, our CSS styling is applying this change to all checkboxes within the table: .tag-table[data-widget\.uri*="tbl_PlanoOperacional_Tratos"] .cell-wrapper input[type=checkbox][class*=boolean] + span{ background: white url(images/floppy-disk_roxo.png) no-repeat 50%/contain;}   We have already tried to change it using annotations, but we weren’t able to make it work out. Is this possible? Thanks!

Hi there! I was wondering whether the behavior of the select all/select none buttons in e.g. the multiselect widget can be adjusted easily. I often use the search bar to get to a subset of my elements which are relevant for selection, which I would like to (de-) select with one click. I would expect that the select all/none button in this case only affects the subset which matches my search. On the contrary, these buttons are overruling whatever you type in the search bar, applying the (de-) selection on all elements, making it more cumbersome to apply “mass selections” on convenient subsets. Is this something you are working on?
