How do I empty a selectionbox in version 4.77 or higher?

I see in the release notes that the default value of a parameter is now only available if it is specified.However, I always use this option to empty selection boxes. I tried addding '’ as a default value, but that still does not allow me to select the “Default:: “ option in the dropdown.So my question is “What should I now do to empty my selectionbox (and show the data for all possible values of the parameter - instead of only for the selected value (location in my case)?

why the webui cannot access the identifiers and procedures from the model except for the webui procedyres?

I have created a basic model to read and write excel files. I have created procedure to do that in my model. But when I am creating the download widget in the webui, I cannot access the procedure to download the excel file. And for the matter, I cannot access any of the identifiers as well in any other widget.

How to Get the Corner Coordinates of the Visible Map

Hi,I basically need the corner coordinates of the visible map in the Map Widget. Please see the red dots below:  These coordinates will be needed when an action is triggered (e.g., a button is pressed), so they don’t need to be tracked continuously.Thanks.

Freeze column in table WebUI

I would like to freeze the left most column in one of my tables. This column contains an identifier with no values in other columns. Is this somehow possible via CSS or some AIMMS logic I am not aware of?

Can we set our own rotational color palette in WebUI yet?

I’m getting crazy proficient in changing my colors of stuff, but there’s one thing that I’m still missing. If I’m not specific in my annotations, WebUI will default to the factory color palette. How can I change my default color palette to be my client’s branding color palette?    Here are the WebUI standard colors. Granted, they’re pretty, but I need to be able to have properly branded colors.

Can we sort a WebUI table by date (for some reason it only sorts dates as if they were strings)?

The column, by which we want to sort, contains an element parameter whose range is a calendar. If I sort the table by the column, it sorts as if its elements were strings, not dates.

Creating a form to add data to a set

The only resource I can find that explains how to do a form is [url=https://techblog.aimms.com/2016/03/10/using-aimms-webui-forms-to-create-and-edit-data/]this post from March of 2016[/url]. It seems the newest WebUI doesn't quite work this way. Is there a link to the actual way the forms work? And can you link that in that blog post so that others can more easily get to it? Thanks!

How can I change the look and feel of the busy spinner?

My WebUI app is looking mighty spiffy. However, whenever AIMMS takes an extra second or two, I see this blue busy spinner. Alas, that is not in my color scheme. How can I change either the color of the spinner or the .gif itself so that the spinner matches my look and feel? Thanks!

How to adjust selectionbox dropdown styles for just one widget?

It seems the data-widget.uri selector for the selectionbox widget can only be accessed in the div of the code that manages the non-dropdown options.  The div that controls the dropdown options is farther down and does not have the data-widget.uri selector available. How can I change the styling of the fonts in the dropdown box if I want to change them for exactly ONE selectionbox widget only?

How can I change the map node shape?

I was wondering if it is possible to change the shape of the node on the map from a circle to something different, e.g. a square or triangle? I am already using color coding to indicate allocation of store locations to warehouses, the shape is intended to differentiate between 3 different types of stores.Using of icons or alterntative stroke colors doesn't really work, because the nodes need to be quite small. But I am also interested in any other suggestions to make it work.Thanks!

Converting old maps and page actions in WebUI

As announced in the July 2019 Product Update, there are a couple of upcoming deprecations in WebUI. You will need to convert or rebuild pages using these older features for AIMMS versions released after September 2019. Status Label coloring

Hello! I have 5 MPs, three of them running in for cycle, so somehow I want to track which MP is solved in a particular time. :clock7: I imagined that, I make five label, with the name of the MPs, and for those string parameter I make annotation, which defines the mp's status (running, finished). Can I make annotation for non indexed parameters? The css code I use is the following (maybe that here misses something :thinking:, without the annotation it's working :sweat_smile:) .tag-widget[data-widget\.uri="OptimizationLog_lbl_SMG1"] .annotation-Active{ border-radius: 5px; background: rgb(17, 255, 125); border-style: solid; border-width: 5px; border-color: rgb(17, 255, 125); color: #fff; } Thanks for your help!

How do you change the text color of the bar on a Gantt chart?

I have a Gantt chart in WinUI that I'm trying to replicate in WebUI. The bars are colored based on the data (and a small bit of logic). I also have text on the bars. The only way I can find to make sure the text shows up is change the css. But the text doesn't respond to anything but the [i]stroke[/i] property. Screen Magnification and WebUI

What are some best practices to develop WebUI’s to consider a user who has their screen set to say 125% magnification in Windows? Am I stuck with just changing my screen magnification to see the results?

Assign a procedure to double-click bars on a Gantt chart

Translation file

Hello everyone!Anyone is having the same problem as me? I am trying to translate the message “Prepare download” of the widget “download”, but it is not changing…What I did: ..\MainProject\WebUI\resources\translations\ProjectName.properties For everything else it worked just fine, but for this widget didn’t. Am I missing something?

Case comparison - coloring barcharts

Hello All! I’ve created some pages to help analizing different cases. To support this I made charts too. When I load in the cases, the colors are always similar(light purpule and purple, light green and green). My first idea was that I use “KPI” annotation for the parmeters in the active case, then I realized that we are working with runtime parameters which has other indexes. Do you have any idea?  While I was trying to color charts, I set up a default color for the widget, it works well:.aimms-widget[data-widget\.uri="GlobalKPICompariosn_barchart1"] .bar{ fill: rgb(192, 90, 90);} Then I wanted to use the same with annotation: No reaction. .aimms-widget[data-widget\.uri="GlobalKPICompariosn_barchart1"] .bar .annotation-KPI{ fill: rgb(84, 183, 203);} I tried some css from the ‘How to’ too with my annotation.  Thanks for your help!  Bogi

How do you turn off the search in a legend widget in WebUI?

I have two legend widgets in my app. And one is showing a search bar and one is not. How do I turn these on or off?I’m not certain how one ended up off, but I need to turn the other off too.Thanks!~Bon

Can we combine the legend and multiselect widgets?

I have proposed the same feature as product idea, as I think it would be very valuable. Since it might take a while to release, in the meantime, is there any way to style the mutliselect through css to mimic the same behavior?

How to sort in a bar chart in the WebUI

Hello! In the WebUI of AIMMS I created a bar chart containing based on 23 data points. However I would like to order the different bars in an ascending order. Is this possible in the WebUI?  Next to that I have another question: in the same WebUI I have another bar chart which shows the workload of 60 different nurses. Right now each of the nurses gets a specific color, however there are three different types of nurses. So in the bar chart it would be nice if each nurse of a certain type has the same color. So, for example, all nurses from type 1 get a green color in the bar chart. Is this possible in AIMMS? Thanks in advance!  Jelle

Select all/none in multiselect relative to selection

Hi there! I was wondering whether the behavior of the select all/select none buttons in e.g. the multiselect widget can be adjusted easily. I often use the search bar to get to a subset of my elements which are relevant for selection, which I would like to (de-) select with one click. I would expect that the select all/none button in this case only affects the subset which matches my search. On the contrary, these buttons are overruling whatever you type in the search bar, applying the (de-) selection on all elements, making it more cumbersome to apply “mass selections” on convenient subsets. Is this something you are working on?

Label pie chart wedges

I created a very simple pie chart using a parameter with one index with 2 elements, named “Actual and “Penalty”.I was expected that the pie chart showed me the names “actual” and “penalty” inside the wedges, like shown in the article: https://documentation.aimms.com/webui/pie-chart-widget.html I also tried an elementtextidentifier to the set I use, although I would expect this does not make sense since the element are already named.I can’t find anything related in the pie diagram options or do I miss something?
