Hi, I have a string parameter as axis label for the X-axis and Y-axis of a bubblechart. When I hover over the axis, I see this same string parameter as tooltip. Is there a way to have a tooltip different from the actual string parameter value? I tried XXX_Tooltips, but that doesn't seem to work (unsure if this works for string parameters at all). thanks,

Workflow Panels are available in AIMMS version 4.68 as an Experimental Feature. Please reach out to User Support on how to enable Experimental Features. You can use element and string parameters to reduce errors while configuring the steps for Workflows. For example, this helps you avoid entering a wrong pageId, or adding a Side Panel pageId or Dialog pageId.The procedure can be summarized as follows:Create the element parameter to select the pageId and redirectpageId. Create the string parameter to enter values for rest of the properties. I am having trouble to find where to set my parameter as Read Only. The most similar from the WinUI Pivot Table functionality was to make my parameter defined then, the user can't change its data inside WebUI. Is there any other way?

I need something in WebUI that is like the WinUI Network Object. The best I can find right now is the map widget - but what if my nodes aren't locations? Can I use the map widget then? Thanks!

In AIMMS 4.61 we released a new version of the Map widget. The new version gives several benefits over the previous version, including the following capabilities: Use multiple arc sets and multiple node sets. Hide the labels on the arcs. Display the arcs as straight lines instead of curved ones. When using AIMMS 4.61 and higher, existing Map widgets in your apps will remain the old version (V1) but any new Map widgets added are in the new version (V2). AIMMS releases on or after October 1, 2019 will not support projects using the older version of this feature. If you activated Page Actions (V1) as an experimental feature, they will still appear when using AIMMS 4.68 and higher until you activate Page Actions (V2) by adding an identifier to the model with the appropriate index. As we are converting an app to the new theme and want to make use of all the new features, I would like to get rid of (close to) all buttons on the page. But on almost every page we have a 'help' link to an external website, where a lot of reference materials can be found. For this we used the 'ExternalLink' option of the button. Is something similar possible in a page (or widget) action? For instance, I can't find a way to redirect to a url in a procedure.

In our app we use excel upload and downloads such that users are able to change and distribute data more easily. So we have written procedures that write and read excel files for the data in the app. With the new widget actions, it seems most logical to also place these download and upload actions there. But there is still an option to download the data as a .csv file. As not to confuse any users which download they should use, I would like to disable the option of downloading as a .csv file for certain tables. Is there a way to disable this feature?

Hello! While my mps are running on the server, I made a "progress window" (log), to know the state of the solving process. 🕘 In this log, because three mps are running in for cycle, and there are many rows, the latest one always apear at the end of the list. I would like to change the order, and show the latest log at the top of my table. If you have any idea, how to do that please let me know. I tried a several thing, and did't get the result. 😥 Thanks!

Hello! I have 5 MPs, three of them running in for cycle, so somehow I want to track which MP is solved in a particular time. 🕖 I imagined that, I make five label, with the name of the MPs, and for those string parameter I make annotation, which defines the mp's status (running, finished). Can I make annotation for non indexed parameters? The css code I use is the following (maybe that here misses something 🤔, without the annotation it's working 😅) .tag-widget[data-widget\.uri="OptimizationLog_lbl_SMG1"] .annotation-Active{ border-radius: 5px; background: rgb(17, 255, 125); border-style: solid; border-width: 5px; border-color: rgb(17, 255, 125); color: #fff; } Thanks for your help!

I do love the itty-bitty AIMMS A logo as the favicon, but being able to make that the client's favicon is a small but very nice thing. I can change it locally, but is there a way to change it so that it won't just happen on my own computer? And if not, can you put it on the list of things to add? Thanks!

I tried to set my Gantt-chart to readonly, such that users would not be able to move any tasks on the Gantt-chart. Unfortunately I cannot find neither this option in WebUI nor in any AIMMS Manual. Could you help me to set it up? Thanks !

So I have seen (and used) things like .tag-ganttchart as well as .ganttchart, but what's the difference? Also sometimes .aimms-widget works and sometimes I need to use .theme-aimms. What's up with these? The only one I seem to understand is the .annotation-whatever_I_name_it class. But then I'm unsure if it needs to be code:.aimms-widget .tag-widgetname .annotation-whatever_I_name_it { fill: #FF0099} or code:.theme-aimms .widgetname .annotation-whatever_I_name_it { fill: #FF0099} or merely code:.annotation-whatever_I_name_it { fill: #FF0099} Everything works fine, but I feel like my CSS is just a scrambled mess with all these different bits. My WebUI app is looking mighty spiffy. However, whenever AIMMS takes an extra second or two, I see this blue busy spinner. Alas, that is not in my color scheme. How can I change either the color of the spinner or the .gif itself so that the spinner matches my look and feel? Thanks!

The only resource I can find that explains how to do a form is this post from March of 2016. It seems the newest WebUI doesn't quite work this way. Is there a link to the actual way the forms work? And can you link that in that blog post so that others can more easily get to it? Thanks!

When solving a stochastic program, the results can be accessed using .Stochastic. However, I cannot find this data in the WebUI when trying to make, for example, a table showing the objective value of the stochastic program for each scenario. My question then, is this: how do I show the values of both Decision Variables and the Objective Function for each scenario, resulting from solving a Stochastic Program?

I've just about got a handle on the css "rules" for the widgets, but the buttons for the new dialog pages don't follow those rules, it seems. I've tried a gazillon permutations of .dialog-open .dialog-page-container .ui-dialog-buttonpane .ui-dialog-buttonset button:last-child button .ui-button .action-cancel .ui-widget .ui-state-default .ui-corner-all .ui-button-text-only How can I change the button color, text color, etc? At this point the only thing that changes anything is code:.theme-mytheme.dialog-open .ui-button-text and that only changes the background around the text itself, not the button background. Thanks!

I need to mask my indexes names in WebUI tables the same way is possible to do in WinUI pivot tables using an string parameter. How I can do it? Example: Set Frubas := { '1', '2', '3', '4'} Ps_DescriptionFrubas('1') := "First" Ps_DescriptionFrubas('2') := "Second" ... In my WebUI table it appears as 1, 2, ... and it should appear "First", "Second" ...

Hi all, we like to share three insights that help to create better page layouts, in order to create more user friendly apps. Any thoughts? Pls share in the comments. Tip 1: Tell a story on your page, by matching the placement of widgets to your user's ideal flow. Next, order your widgets from top left to bottom right. Bottom right is also a great place to put a button to go to the next step in the flow. Tip 2: Avoid dead ends in your app. This will confuse the user as he may not know what to do next. Making a button appear to go to the next step is a great way to keep the user flow going. Tip 3: Make an attractive home page, since we all know that first impressions count! Consider what widgets to place here that give some immediate value to the user. Maybe the results form last time, maybe a map, maybe the progress of the app, or what is expected from the user.

In WinUI (SO yesterday) we have the ability to assign a procedure to the on-double-click action in a Gantt chart. Is there yet a way to do this in WebUI?
