Hiya! I’m completely new to AIMMS so apologies if this is a really fundamental thing to ask. I’ve been working on a model that I would like to call from within Python using AimmsCmd - for now while I’m just trying to get it to work, my code in Python linking to AIMMS is pretty much identical to the script in the guide to running batch commands:aimmsPath = "C:\\Users\\44750\\AppData\\Local\\AIMMS\\IFA\\Aimms\\4.77.4.5-x64-VS2017\\Bin\\AimmsCmd.exe"command = aimmsPath + " solver.aimms < cmds.txt > log.txt"solve = subprocess.call(command, shell=True)log = open("log.txt","r")print(log.read())log.close()When I execute it however, I get this error:Error: Unable to open AIMMS with "--as-server --ignore-dialogs --hidden  "solver.aimms"": Starting up Aimms failed. I was wondering if there is any way to generate a pool of multiple optimal solutions for a MIP solved using CPLEX?I appreciate any response in advance

I don’t know what causes it.Furthermore, how do I check and know if the equations are not feasible ya? Hello, I am working with the AIMMS PRO Cloud Platform and, in one of our systems, the user’s AIMMS project must exchange data with their other solutions through SQLite. We have a current solution in WinUI for this integration but we were looking into adapting the user interface to a cloud-hosted WebUI approach. The challenge we are facing right now is the integration with the DB files. One of those SQLite files reaches the size of 900Mb and the upload widget seems to simply load an animation and show an error. The tool works with smaller files.Would anyone know a way to bypass this size limit while uploading files? Regards, Jean Tremeschin

I tried to draw two lines in a graph for two different parameters, one of them has missing/null values and for some reason AIMMS then draws a line to zero (like in the picture below). How can I fix this? 

Hi AIMMS,Is it possible to add a tooltip to an multiselect widget? For example, below I want to see the description behind the status IDs when hoovering.Adding a tooltip annotation (both to the set as to the binary parameter) does not do the trick for me.  

Hi all,Every time we update our app, I get e-mails from users that they cannot enter the app and they send me a picture like the one below. We have tried to prevent this from happening by using the ‘latest’ tag option. All links in our information channels link to our app ending with the ‘/tag/latest’ such that they always end up at the right version of the app. But still I get a lot of these e-mails.Mostly this is because, once people have entered the app, they bookmark it (or store the url) and use this bookmark later on. The problem is that once they bookmark it, the url has changed to the current version name and therefore the link doesn’t consist of this latest tag anymore. And thereby causing the problem of the picture below after a new update of the app. I always reply back that they should use the link with the latest tag in there, but as we have a lot of users, this keeps happening. Since I have no particular background in e.g., operations research, some of the notations are unfamiliar to me. Dear All, I want to generate an integer parameter based on the combination of a number of component as shown as:   K1 K2 K3 C1 1 1 1 C2 1 1 0 C3 1 0 1 C4 1 0 0 C5 0 1 1 C6 0 1 0 C7 0 0 1 C8 0 0 0   where K1 … Kn is the number of component and C1 .. Cn is generated combination based on component number. The value of 1 means that the component is available and the value of 0 is otherwise. Is it possible to do this in AIMMS? Thank you very much.

Hello, I am using WebUI and I would like to create create a Side Panel that contains a generic List.I order to do so, I have added a Text Widget to the Side Panel. Dear community, I am implementing a structure change in my database declaration and keep coming across the error below. It occurs when mapping database columns to variables, using the DatabaseTable function. The change I have made is in adding an index "st”, and the column names in the data source Access Database.The error:The index "uc" present in Ramp_rate(uc, yr, ct) is not present in the previously generated entry (WorkingH2(i, yr, st)) of this read statement.  AIMMS generates communication links when they are not explicitly specified between the keywords read/write and from/to.  These entries are constructed by considering the column names in the database, the identifier names in the model and/or the database table mapping attribute.The variable Ramp_rate has little connection to the read statement where the error occurs. Has anyone encountered this error before, and do you have an idea what problem this error most likely hints towards? Thank you kindly for your help in advance,Sa

Hello everybody,I have a problem with around 3000 suppliers, each supplier is independent. Our Aimms runs in a loop solving a MIP model for each supplier with around 800 variables and a gap of 2%. Each model runs very quickly at around 5-6 seconds, but the entire run of 3000 suppliers takes around 30-40 min. We need to improve the time of the model and I would like some sugestions. Options we are already thinking:a)  Merge the models in batchs of suppliers, creating a bigger model and pass it to the solver.b) Performance tunning of the CPLEX optionsIs there any other suggestion? Is there some way to run the models in parallel for example? 

 Dear AIMMS experts, it would be great if there is a working example related to calling AIMMS from python using the latest release REST API.Also,  following on other recent python-AIMMS questions here, could you kindly clarify the following questions:is the method of calling AIMMS using 'win32com' in python still valid? (as seen in the office github repo example in 'examples/Functional Examples/Calling AIMMSCOM/RunAIMMS.py ' ? is the previous method of calling python using 'subprocess' module and command line still valid for the recent version of AIMMS ? does the ways of calling AIMMS in python subject to the type of license I have (I have both free and paid academic licenses) ?

Hi, I seem to have difficulties with defining the number of decimals when rounding my parameters . The function description tells me I should define a positive integer for defining the number of decimals on the right of the decimal point, but this function gives me a different number of decimals. I use Units of Measurement and I think the ‘internal’ unit is rounded instead of my defined unit for the specific parameter (which differs in order 6 (10^6) ). Do more people encounter this problem?

Hi,I took the exampleNFL project from the documentation and was trying to modify the input data, write it to excel sheet Output.xlsx, cross check if the data is being modified and download the same. It seems to work till cross check part but I am facing difficulty with downloading. Could you please let me know where am I going wrong with the model? I have attached the model for your reference.
