I want to open dialogpage whenever we open application. I have tried to open dialog page from mainintilisation. its giving error. let me know if we should open dialog page from mainintilisation.

i am displaying info in table. How can we create hyper link under value of cell. if i click hyper link it should redirect to dialogue page with parameter filtered based on value of the cell .

Hi All,I would like build web-based user interface. When I click/start WebUI , getting error as “Unable to navigate to the WebUI page using Chrome”. So, unable to start using WebUI. Please suggest a way to come out this error. Thanks in advance.

I have created button which will run 3 procedures & create output.  When i clicked button, it is showing busy indefinitely.  I tried to debug in debug mode. system able to execute 3 procedure & coming out of procedure still UI showing Busy

I have created a basic model to read and write excel files. I have created procedure to do that in my model. But when I am creating the download widget in the webui, I cannot access the procedure to download the excel file. And for the matter, I cannot access any of the identifiers as well in any other widget.   

Hi all, I am considering migrating a heritage WinUI app to WebUI. One of the reasons for this is that there are quite some intense calculations currently being run on user machines. When I migrate to WebUI, and the user presses a button to run a procedure, is that procedure executed on local host machine, or is it executed using server resources?

I am trying to understand if I am running into a bug or intended behavior in the coloring of the bar chart widget…. I have three sets:StoragePositions Days ProductsI have a parameter supply that is defined over these three setsFurthermore, I have a an element parameter that allows me to select a specific storage position in the GUI. If the supply is only provided for one product, the bars in the widget show different colors (which is NOT what I would expect, because I set  the product index in the grouped, or stacked, same behavior) part of the pivot in the widget settings: If there is one more other product during the time horizon with a non-zero supply value, the colors are indeed calculated per product instead of every bar having its own:  This is the coloring I would expect (and in the first image I would expect all of the 5 bars to be of the same color). Is there something I am missing in my own logic or is this a bug in the coloring within AIMMS? Attached the small demo project t

Our app has just been upgraded from AIMMS 4.91 to 4.96 and on startup of the project a pop up appears in the webUI: ‘page naviagtion is currently disabled’. This only happens on the pro cloud platform, not locally in developer mode. When using the navigation workflow there is message: ‘No control session connection, unable to run procedure: [object Object]. Does anyone recognize these messages and does know why these occured? 

Hello! I got an erorr message saying “Unable to map 'undefined' to an element within the range of set 'xxx' (in widget 'xxx)Setup as follows: Set A:= {‘Option 1’,Option 2’}. Element parameter eA with Range of the Set A. Create a widget selection box with content eA.Once I select ‘Option 1’ or ‘Option 2’ and I want to empty the selection box again (preferabele using the ‘cross’ but then I got the error message).  And using the delete button does not empty the element parameter eA. So how can I empty a selection box? (i know there if another topic but like I said the delete button does not work)I’m using aimms 4.91

I am facing the error in deployment of an AIMMSPACK  on AIMMS Web Pro as:Cannot verify project validity. Session 48f337e8-c168-451e-8a81-0fc460594b5f failed. Error message is: 'Error opening project/Starting up the Aimms project failed [error 3190].'. Check logs for details.Unable to understand why. Seeking help from fellow AIMMS users.

In the winUI of AIMMS, there is the DialogGetPassword function that will create a dialog window with a masked input that can be used to retrieve passwords. Is there any way I can achieve the same in the WebUI at the moment? If not directly supported by AIMMS, I could think of a bit of Javascript that could find the right input tag and modify the type from text to password. Is this possible within the webui? To add som custom javascript that is running on the page?

Hi, Playing around a bit with AIMMS again and was looking first at using a workflow, but the problem I think for me is that changes I make in a later step could invalidate an earlier step again. For example, one step in the workflow would be to request the user to upload 3 files, while next steps in the flow would be fixing some of the items that were just imported. However, I don’t think I can make it three separate steps in a workflow because changing something that was read in from the 3rd file could invalidate something from the first file. So based on earlier conversations, I was looking at using the list widget in a side panel because this can easily give me the non-linear behavior. For each of the three input files, I would have one line in the list widget and I can use green checkmarks / red crosses / yellow warnings to indicate which blocks need to be investigated. Is this indeed a good approach for these kind of things?  With regards to the side panel, when adding the list wi

In an effort to improve the Tabular Data Manipulation experience on WebUI, we added and released "Excel Upload/Download Support" Table feature with 4.86 version. Using its Download Excel and Upload Excel capabilities, this functionality provides a means of manipulating Table data.The user can choose to download the entire table's contents into an excel file, edit the data, and then upload the updated data back to the WebUI. We firmly feel that the user benefits when the Table has a sizable amount of data and the user is able to edit the data utilising Excel's features. I’m looking for your feedback on this feature, specifically:Any suggestions on improvements on Excel Upload & Download feature on Tables Do you still need "Download CSV" feature, and what are the use cases? Hello,I am working on a model and tried to use WebUI to analyze some results.However, when I tried to open the WebUI, the system says it failed to load all objects with the error message below. awf.data.aimms.session: Running requestGetIdentifierValues for [object Object] has resulted in an error: Unable to retrieve values for all identifiers (code=400) I re-started the AIMMS project, but it didn’t help.Anyone know potential reason for this error?It would be very appreciated. Thank you Best,

I have a webUI and pipelines running on Azure Data Factory, how do I create an on demand trigger which will be triggered through the webUI to trigger the Azure Data Factory pipelines.

Just wanted to know if it is possible to style the buttons in AIMMS based on information from the model. What I have in mind is allowing the user to open for example 25 different pages (e.g. for different inputs) by providing 25 different buttons.I would like to style these buttons in such a way that if the input that corresponds to the page this button opens contains an error, the button should be red or I would like to include a red Error symbol (think might be possible with unicode and variant selection?) on that button and if there are warnings, I would like to make it yellow or have a yellow warning symbol. Green checkmark could indicate there are no issues with that particular input. It could also be that buttons to open the 25 different inputs are not the best way to this from UX perspective. If that is the case, what would you recommend?

Hello everyone. We are trying to change a specific identifier in our table to a button that opens a dialog page. It’s the last column within this table:   However, as you can see in the image, our CSS styling is applying this change to all checkboxes within the table: .tag-table[data-widget\.uri*="tbl_PlanoOperacional_Tratos"] .cell-wrapper input[type=checkbox][class*=boolean] + span{ background: white url(images/floppy-disk_roxo.png) no-repeat 50%/contain;}   We have already tried to change it using annotations, but we weren’t able to make it work out. Is this possible? Thanks!

Hi there! I was wondering whether the behavior of the select all/select none buttons in e.g. the multiselect widget can be adjusted easily. I often use the search bar to get to a subset of my elements which are relevant for selection, which I would like to (de-) select with one click. I would expect that the select all/none button in this case only affects the subset which matches my search. On the contrary, these buttons are overruling whatever you type in the search bar, applying the (de-) selection on all elements, making it more cumbersome to apply “mass selections” on convenient subsets. Is this something you are working on?

Hello all!I was looking back through some old custom CSS code and the new way of theming using CSS properties. We have some very custom CSS code that, for example, selects specific widgets or specific pieces of the WebUI, and we would obviously like to keep this custom CSS code while still taking advantage of the new WebUI styling that has come out in the last year.However, I know recently some updates to WebUI, esp. the new 16-color palette, caused some issues with backward compatibility. Are there best practices for maintaining custom CSS code that may not be affected (e.g. “don’t use custom styling for x kinds of widgets or y kinds of selectors”). I am referencing the post here (), which mentioned that it should be possible to combine the “old ways” and the “new ways” of doing things. I guess I am just looking for some guidance on the best practices in ways to go about this to ensure forward compatibility.

For one of our production apps, we want to offer help to the user by displaying user-guide information using a ‘help me’ page action. We would love to display the user guide in the app when the users clicks the ‘help me’ page action button.However, the user guide pdf is stored in box.com and its seems like box does not permit embedding using an i-frame widget.Writing user guide text in a dialog box is not desired as it would mean double work when the user guide gets updated and could lead to inconsistencies. Screenshots are also possible but it means we would have to retake them if something get updated.Another option is to use links that allow to open the user guide in a separate tab. This is somehow sub-optimal as you have to leave the app momentarily.Wondering if there are some best practices, tips & tricks for displaying user guide info in the WebUI. Specifically:Recommended ways for offering help in WebUI Apps? Is there any way to embed a pdf or make it accessible via WebUI? I

I see in the release notes that the default value of a parameter is now only available if it is specified.However, I always use this option to empty selection boxes. I tried addding '’ as a default value, but that still does not allow me to select the “Default:: “ option in the dropdown.So my question is “What should I now do to empty my selectionbox (and show the data for all possible values of the parameter - instead of only for the selected value (location in my case)?
