How to find "old-style" WebUI Annotations (and what are they?)

In converting a project to the new WebUI, I have encountered these warnings:Warning: Your model probably contains old-style WebUI annotations. Please consider refactoring your model to use the 'webui::AnnotationsIdentifier' model annotation to specify your annotations.Warning: Identifier 'Sales_Graphs' possesses the old-style WebUI annotation 'Sales_Graphs_Annotations'.I have searched for both Sales_Graphs and Sales_Graphs_Annotations and neither exist! How can I find these “old-style” annotations and what are they, anyhow?

Gradient Barchart

Hi,I know how to use CSS to change the color of a bar in AIMMS; @color19-1:     #808dc2;.mixin-color(color19-1;   @color19-1); And in this way I can use “color-19-1” to set my bar for example to green or red.Is there a way to use a gradient to color the bar? It is working for he background of a widget. But when I try the same logic on a bar in a chart it gets the default color.background-image: linear-gradient(red, yellow);

json file and version control

Hi!I was wondering if there are any recommendations regarding use of .json file within version control systems? Are any merging strategies better than the others?Almost every time when I am merging two branches, and each of these branches includes new elements (pages or widgets) in the WebUI I am getting merge conflicts. And manual solution of these conflicts could be somewhat of a surgical operation...Last week I had quite an extreme example of that. Both developers were adding new download and upload widgets, each on his/her respective page. When the file was merged (before conflict resolution), the lines that were identical in both files (e.g. declaring widget type, action type, opening and closing brackets) appear only once in the merged version, while lines with widget names and contents were appearing after each other. We have managed to solve it by comparing both version pre-merge and replicating some of the lines. But this is of course quite error-prone and time-consuming.

How do you turn off the search in a legend widget in WebUI?

I have two legend widgets in my app. And one is showing a search bar and one is not. How do I turn these on or off?I’m not certain how one ended up off, but I need to turn the other off too.Thanks!~Bon

How do you handle Logoff Procedure when popups in WebUI are asynchronous?

In converting WinUI to WebUI, I have to convert the popups. Seemingly no problem, right?It is a bit annoying, but fairly easy to do. Case comparison - coloring barcharts

Hello All! I’ve created some pages to help analizing different cases. To support this I made charts too. When I load in the cases, the colors are always similar(light purpule and purple, light green and green). My first idea was that I use “KPI” annotation for the parmeters in the active case, then I realized that we are working with runtime parameters which has other indexes. Do you have any idea?  While I was trying to color charts, I set up a default color for the widget, it works well:.aimms-widget[data-widget\.uri="GlobalKPICompariosn_barchart1"] .bar{ fill: rgb(192, 90, 90);} Then I wanted to use the same with annotation: No reaction. .aimms-widget[data-widget\.uri="GlobalKPICompariosn_barchart1"] .bar .annotation-KPI{ fill: rgb(84, 183, 203);} I tried some css from the ‘How to’ too with my annotation.  Thanks for your help!  Bogi

How to display which dataset a user has loaded?

Hi all, I am constructing an app that a lot of users are using, with a lot of different datasets. These datasets are loaded from and saved to a database. Is there a possibility to show a name on every page in the app specific for that dataset, without having to add a widget to every page? I provided a screenshot below of a page in the app. I was thinking about maybe the word "Menu" that could be editable? Or could I place something before "Masterdata" that shows which dataset someone is using. As people only go to the homepage to change datasets, this would seem logical to me (this page would then display "Dataset 1> Masterdata", or something like that). Or does anyone have a better tip for this?

Multiple case objects in WebUI

Hello, Is there a way to view multiple case files on WebUI? I know that this is possible using multiple case objects in the developer version. I wonder if some way of accessing the list of all casefiles (that are not necessarily loaded) and using CaseFileMerge may help with this… This would be very helpful for our users to view results from multiple cases in the same visualizations, and would also make it easier on our side in terms of scenario management. Thanks!

Translation file

Hello everyone!Anyone is having the same problem as me? I am trying to translate the message “Prepare download” of the widget “download”, but it is not changing…What I did: ..\MainProject\WebUI\resources\translations\ProjectName.properties For everything else it worked just fine, but for this widget didn’t. Am I missing something?

Converting old maps and page actions in WebUI

As announced in the July 2019 Product Update, there are a couple of upcoming deprecations in WebUI. You will need to convert or rebuild pages using these older features for AIMMS versions released after September 2019. Page Actions: we released Page Actions as an experimental feature in late 2018. Starting with AIMMS 4.68, we will offer this functionality in a different and more flexible way. As of the end of November 2019, new AIMMS releases that will no longer have the Experimental Feature. Old Map Widget: we started offering a new version of the Map Widget since late 2018. Older maps will no longer work in AIMMS versions released after November 2019. There is documentation for the process available at how-to.aimms.com: Upgrade WebUI Maps Upgrade WebUI Page Actions Please share any questions or tips you run into if you are already in the process of converting/rebuilding WebUI pages with these features.

Hi. How can I change the text "SELECT ALL" and "SELECT NONE" within the multiselect widget? We tried the translation property (resources > translations > .properties), both upper- and lowercase but it didn't work. Thanks!

Tooltip on axes for bubblechart

Hi, I have a string parameter as axis label for the X-axis and Y-axis of a bubblechart. When I hover over the axis, I see this same string parameter as tooltip. Is there a way to have a tooltip different from the actual string parameter value? I tried XXX_Tooltips, but that doesn't seem to work (unsure if this works for string parameters at all). thanks,

How to set parameter to be Read Only?

I am having trouble to find where to set my parameter as Read Only. The most similar from the WinUI Pivot Table functionality was to make my parameter defined then, the user can't change its data inside WebUI. Is there any other way?

I need something in WebUI that is like the WinUI Network Object. The best I can find right now is the map widget - but what if my nodes aren't locations? Can I use the map widget then? Thanks!

How to upgrade WebUI Maps to new version (for AIMMS v.4.61 and later)How-to

In AIMMS 4.61 we released a new version of the Map widget. The new version gives several benefits over the previous version, including the following capabilities: Use multiple arc sets and multiple node sets. Hide the labels on the arcs. Display the arcs as straight lines instead of curved ones. When using AIMMS 4.61 and higher, existing Map widgets in your apps will remain the old version (V1) but any new Map widgets added are in the new version (V2). AIMMS releases on or after October 1, 2019 will not support projects using the older version of this feature. Can I get an external link (to a website) in a page or widget action?

As we are converting an app to the new theme and want to make use of all the new features, I would like to get rid of (close to) all buttons on the page. But on almost every page we have a 'help' link to an external website, where a lot of reference materials can be found. For this we used the 'ExternalLink' option of the button. Is something similar possible in a page (or widget) action? For instance, I can't find a way to redirect to a url in a procedure.

Can you disable the csv download in the WebUI?

In our app we use excel upload and downloads such that users are able to change and distribute data more easily. So we have written procedures that write and read excel files for the data in the app. With the new widget actions, it seems most logical to also place these download and upload actions there. But there is still an option to download the data as a .csv file. As not to confuse any users which download they should use, I would like to disable the option of downloading as a .csv file for certain tables. Is there a way to disable this feature?
