Hello everyone!I’m reaching out to know how can I use multiselect in showing nodes and arcs in my network map. It is part of my project to make the UI interactive, however, I’m having difficulty doing so. I have tried testing if the same multiselect-table interaction can also work here, but it doesn’t. Any tips or examples you can provide?Thank you!

In converting WinUI to WebUI, I have to convert the popups. Seemingly no problem, right?It is a bit annoying, but fairly easy to do. Hi,In my case, each plant has a different set of tanks, and the user is able to select one plant at a time. Whenever user selects a plant, the inventory level over time for each tank in the plant is shown on a graph - and the graphs need to be placed on top of each other. This was a behavior that could be achieved in WinUI easily, by creating an Indexed Page object and identifying a parameter for the Index Rows.  I am wondering if there is a way to achieve the same behavior within WebUI?

Just wanted to know if it is possible to style the buttons in AIMMS based on information from the model. What I have in mind is allowing the user to open for example 25 different pages (e.g. for different inputs) by providing 25 different buttons.I would like to style these buttons in such a way that if the input that corresponds to the page this button opens contains an error, the button should be red or I would like to include a red Error symbol (think might be possible with unicode and variant selection?) on that button and if there are warnings, I would like to make it yellow or have a yellow warning symbol. Green checkmark could indicate there are no issues with that particular input. It could also be that buttons to open the 25 different inputs are not the best way to this from UX perspective. If that is the case, what would you recommend?

In WebUI in the Map widget I can change the outline of the label, but not the color of the label. Notice what my font looks like with the following css: Here’s the result: I recall having a similar issue with the labels on the Gantt chart, for which the solution was to use the selector .label. I have tried this with the map widget with no success. Can you please tell me what css I need to style this?

Frequently we run into the limitations of resizing widget. Here is one concrete example which could be solved if we can hide the table header.   In our application we have a table with a 1-dimensional parameter with 4 items. With a table widget of row height 1, we don't see the last item unless we scroll. With a table widget of row height 2, we have a lot of redundant white space we want to use for something else. All items would be visible in the smaller widget, if we could hide /collapse the header. Is there is a way we can remove the column headers via CSS?   As a side note, I believe grid we are limited to when placing widgets is too coarse.

Hi community, With earlier versions of the webUI, I have played around with creating my own custom widgets (e.g. sankey diagrams using D3) for AIMMS. If I now go to the documentatation page about custom widgets (https://documentation.aimms.com/webui/own-widgets.html) I see that currently this framework is deprecated and should not be used until the new framework is made available. Is there anything known about when this new framework will be made available and I could give the custom widgets another try? 

I was wondering if the following workflow is possible in AIMMS WebUI.User runs a procedure - this could include a web::request_invoke_async() or Execute(), for example User can continue other work Status bar procedure polls for an update and displays statusCurrently, I could setup a manual polling procedure that the user can click and run to check the status. I imagine one can setup a separate app that gets an ID and details of user request and polls for the status and runs an AIMMS procedure using AIMMS PRO API to update the status bar. (Is it even possible to run a procedure in an active AIMMS session/job through the PRO API?) It is a little too convoluted to setup simple use cases.

Hi all, I am constructing an app that a lot of users are using, with a lot of different datasets. These datasets are loaded from and saved to a database. Is there a possibility to show a name on every page in the app specific for that dataset, without having to add a widget to every page? I provided a screenshot below of a page in the app. I was thinking about maybe the word "Menu" that could be editable? Or could I place something before "Masterdata" that shows which dataset someone is using. As people only go to the homepage to change datasets, this would seem logical to me (this page would then display "Dataset 1> Masterdata", or something like that). Or does anyone have a better tip for this?

Hi, Playing around a bit with AIMMS again and was looking first at using a workflow, but the problem I think for me is that changes I make in a later step could invalidate an earlier step again. For example, one step in the workflow would be to request the user to upload 3 files, while next steps in the flow would be fixing some of the items that were just imported. However, I don’t think I can make it three separate steps in a workflow because changing something that was read in from the 3rd file could invalidate something from the first file. So based on earlier conversations, I was looking at using the list widget in a side panel because this can easily give me the non-linear behavior. For each of the three input files, I would have one line in the list widget and I can use green checkmarks / red crosses / yellow warnings to indicate which blocks need to be investigated. Is this indeed a good approach for these kind of things?  With regards to the side panel, when adding the list wi

In our app we use excel upload and downloads such that users are able to change and distribute data more easily. So we have written procedures that write and read excel files for the data in the app. With the new widget actions, it seems most logical to also place these download and upload actions there. But there is still an option to download the data as a .csv file. As not to confuse any users which download they should use, I would like to disable the option of downloading as a .csv file for certain tables. Is there a way to disable this feature?

So I have seen (and used) things like .tag-ganttchart as well as .ganttchart, but what's the difference? Also sometimes .aimms-widget works and sometimes I need to use .theme-aimms. What's up with these? The only one I seem to understand is the .annotation-whatever_I_name_it class. But then I'm unsure if it needs to be code:.aimms-widget .tag-widgetname .annotation-whatever_I_name_it { fill: #FF0099} or code:.theme-aimms .widgetname .annotation-whatever_I_name_it { fill: #FF0099} or merely code:.annotation-whatever_I_name_it { fill: #FF0099} Everything works fine, but I feel like my CSS is just a scrambled mess with all these different bits. Dear community of AIMMS WebUI Users, With the upcoming end of life of Windows 7 (Jan 14, 2020), all Windows users should by now be on Windows 10 or higher and therefore have the Edge browser available as the primary browser. During our development of the AIMMS WebUI, Internet Explorer 11 support has always been an expensive and tedious task and a burden to innovate fast (and we are not the only software company facing this). Therefore, we are removing the support for Internet Explorer 11 and ask you to use the Edge browser to run AIMMS WebApps as of January 2020. If you have the choice, we still recommend the Chrome browser as the preferred browser.    We are making this decision based on the support tables of Microsoft and the wish to free up expensive developers time to support old technology. However, we also are aware that possibly a small group of customers might not be ready to give up Internet Explorer 11. If so, we love to hear from you.   PS: For accuracy, I should have mentio

I tried to draw two lines in a graph for two different parameters, one of them has missing/null values and for some reason AIMMS then draws a line to zero (like in the picture below). How can I fix this? 

Hi all, Quite new to this WebUI thing in AIMMS, not so new to AIMMS itself (have done some things with AIMMS before….. ). (Edit: after posting the question, I see the forum classifies me as an AIMMS newcomer ….  ) I am starting to understand the whole concept with rows/columns in the layout, but not sure how to solve the following problem:I have set the maximum number of columns on the page to 11 I have created two selection boxes (each 2 columns) and two labels to describe the selection box (also each 2 columns) I then added a large table (10 columns) Finally, I added another label of 2 columns, defined after the tableBecause there are still 3 columns free after the combination of 4 widgets (2x selection and 2x label), AIMMS will place the final label not below the table, but still on the first row, behind the other widgets as you can see in the image below: Is it possible to work with ‘spacer’ widgets to ensure a certain logical placement of the widget? I would like to visualize the opening and end stock in one line. This means for exampleOpening Stock Week 1: 100 (t = 1)End Stock Week 1: 80 (t = 2)Opening Stock Week 2: 120. (t = 2) This means on the x-axis (t = 2) has 2 values 80 and 120. I would like to see this jump without creating dummy x-axis points which are very close to t = 2.Is this possible?

Is is possible to add a widget action to a label widget?

I have one set - Modes, with multiple indexes, mp, m, and mn. These translate to Previous Mode, Current Mode, and Next Mode.In WebUI, I have a table with a parameter that includes two of these indexes, Previous Mode and Current Mode.I’d like to change the name of mp to be Previous Mode and m to be Current Mode. It seems, though, that in fieldnames.properties, I can only change the name of the set (Modes).  Any ideas? 

For some demo project, I am using the secondary page actions on a page to allow the user to initiate certain actions on the current page.After I am finished with the actions, I would like for the seconary page actions to collapse again (which is also an indication for the end-user that something has happened). At the moment, after clicking on an item in the secondary page actions, the page actions stay unfolded.Is there a way that I can change the folding state of the secondary page actions from within my aimms model (most important, to close it, not so interested in opening it from aimms code)

I do love the itty-bitty AIMMS A logo as the favicon, but being able to make that the client's favicon is a small but very nice thing. I can change it locally, but is there a way to change it so that it won't just happen on my own computer? And if not, can you put it on the list of things to add? Thanks!

Our users want to be able to store case files locally on their computer and reupload to the cloud environment at a later stage. It looks like the WebUI data manager does not support this requirement. What is the best way to enable users with such a feature?

I have a String parameter for BeginDateofCalendar which takes a string of date.I created a procedure for getting value for the above string parameter using DialogGetDate which gives me option to select a date from Calendar.But it only working in WinUI. When i am running the procedure in a page in WebUI its running but the calendar is opening in AIMMS App, not in WebUI.what should i do so that the calendar opens in WebUI and not in AIMMS App?
