I’m getting crazy proficient in changing my colors of stuff, but there’s one thing that I’m still missing. If I’m not specific in my annotations, WebUI will default to the factory color palette. How can I change my default color palette to be my client’s branding color palette?    Here are the WebUI standard colors. Granted, they’re pretty, but I need to be able to have properly branded colors.

Dear AIMMS Team, I am a PhD student in the UK and I have been trying to solve a non-linear non-convex optimisation problem with different solvers for a Journal Paper. The following are the CPU details: Intel Core i7 2.2GHz, 16GB RAM memory, 64-bit operating system. So far the solvers CONOPT 4.0 and IPOPT 3.11 have been able to solve the case without problems. Unfortunately, when I use MINOS the following error appears: Errors/Warnings Warning: Model status 13: Error no solution, Solver status 9: Error: Setup failure (see message window). Message Window For the MinCost 39239 columns have been generated of which only 31245 are non-empty. Calling MINOS for NLP of 34726 rows, 31245 columns and 109867 non-zeros. Calling MINOS to solve NLP model 'MinCost' and minimize GenCost. Generation required 0.406 seconds. MINOS error: Not enough memory for basis factorization. Required amount of memory: 2799 Mb. You could increase the value of the general solvers option 'solver workspace'. There is 1.7

Hello!  I have three table’s on a page, and it depends on the initialization which is the main one. I would like to change the table’s header if thats the main, but i can’t find the right CSS code to make it avaiable only for the needed table widget.  The last version I used: .theme-aimms .aimms-widget [data-widget\.uri = 'ForecastResults_Level3'].awf-dock.top.vbox .annotation-master3 {     border-radius: 5px 5px 0 0;*/     background: rgba(144, 193, 204); } What am I doing wrong?    Thanks for your help

Hi AIMMS support! I have noticed that for the Workflow Panel and for the Status Bar there are pre-declared sets for indication of the order of the workflow steps (webui::indexWorkflowOrder) and status bar messages (webui::indexApplicationExtension) respectively. But for the Side Panel and the Widget Action the developer needs to declare such a set (as a subset of integers) in each model. In my point of view it will be better to work with per-declared sets for all these objects, also makes it easier to copy sections between different models. Are there plans to add these pre-declared sets for the workflow and status in the future releases? Thanks, Tanya

Hi Community,   If a user creates a case file on AIMMS PRO Cloud or uploads one and shares with other users, is it possible to modify and saved this case file data by other users? I know it’s readonly by default. Can I modify somehow this functionality? Thanks, Zsófi

Dear All, I want to model a variable that only can be applied for certaint set index. For example: Variable NPGMax {     IndexDomain: (i,g,ng)|ord(i) = 1 or ord(i) = 3 or ord(i) = 6; } where the variable NPGMax is only applied for index 1, 3, or 6 of set bus with index i. Is it possibel to do it dynamiclly where the value 1,3, or 6 can be assigned as an input parameter? Thank you very much.

FileSelect works just fine in WebUI, BUT it pops up over the AIMMS developer instance.  How can I force this to pop up over the WebUI interface so the user doesn’t have to hunt for it (or be confused when they don’t see it and WebUI won’t respond)? In AIMMS PRO, does this pop up in the WebUI. Or can you even select files in AIMMS PRO? Thanks!

Dear All, Is possible to retrieve MIP optimalilty gap and Solving Time for each solve in to a parameter? If so, how to do this? Thank you very much.

Hello Members, i want to add a time restriction constraint in my model in which i have variable s(i,j,k) for time where i and j belongs to node and k belongs to vehicle.  i want to add a constraint which will ensure that each vehicle will not work more than 8 hours.  Provide the possible formulation against this constraint. Looking forward for response.

Hi All,   I’m trying to use CPOptimizer giving an initial solution. I found AIMMS allows this in the “specific-solver option”. But according to  AIMMS website only CPLEX, GUROBI and CBC support solving with an initial solution. And I did not find a way to directly setup the initial solution in AIMMS for CPOptimizer. So does AIMMS allow read in an initial solution for CP? If yes, how should I set up this, like read in from another data file?   Thanks and happy holidays!

Hi dear community,   I have a constraint as sum((k,z1), y(b,k,z1,l,z2)) <= 1 and I want to add if statement to it: if k = l, then z1 cannot be equal to z2; if k<>l, then there’s no further constraint for z1 and z2. I tryed to add it like this: if k<>l then sum((k,z1), y(b,k,z1,l,z2)) <= 1 endif; if k=l then sum((k,z1)|z1<>z2, y(b,k,z1,l,z2)) <= 1 endif; The AIMMS through out the message “The scope of index "k" has not been specified.” like shown in the screenshot(I’ve highlighted where the error is-the first k appears in if statement). So my question is, is there a way to fix this constraint in the way that I want it to be? (maybe using element parameter)?   Thanks in advance!

I have proposed the same feature as product idea, as I think it would be very valuable. Since it might take a while to release, in the meantime, is there any way to style the mutliselect through css to mimic the same behavior?

Dear community,  even if the excel is not an read only file I always receive this error. Do you have any advices how to avoid them ? Maybe it’s a read-only file and I just can’t see it?         Thank you!!   Lars Wohlan

In the app I'm working on, it should be possible to move tasks from one machine to the other, but changing its duration (by clicking on the left or right border of the task) shouldn't be possible. How to achieve this?

Dear all, I have a matrix T(i,j,k,s).I want that for each s, i and j are equal.How can I do this?Best

Dear community, how can I make scatter plots in WebUI? I appreciate any help in advance

Hi,  I have the dongle usb in violet and just the license number that I know should work. When I try to install the license number, this message appears: the license file not found. In fact, I did not receive any license file. How can I solve this issue?   Thanks

In converting a project to the new WebUI, I have encountered these warnings:Warning: Your model probably contains old-style WebUI annotations. Please consider refactoring your model to use the 'webui::AnnotationsIdentifier' model annotation to specify your annotations.Warning: Identifier 'Sales_Graphs' possesses the old-style WebUI annotation 'Sales_Graphs_Annotations'.I have searched for both Sales_Graphs and Sales_Graphs_Annotations and neither exist! How can I find these “old-style” annotations and what are they, anyhow?

Hi. I tried to follow the tutorial to read the data from excel. I have manually inserted the data for the sets of the index c,t and r in AIMMS. Then, I must set a 3-dimensional parameter, e.g. waste(c,t,r) as shown in the picture below. I wish to insert the data for the parameter by using the axll function in AIMMS.        I put the excel sheet in the AMMS data folder. I tried using this coding:   WorkBookName := "roomWaste.xlsx"; if axll::WorkBookIsOpen(WorkBookName) then          axll::SelectWorkBook(WorkBookName); else          axll::OpenWorkBook(WorkBookName); endif; axll::SelectSheet(SheetName : "Waste"); axll::ReadTable(     IdentifierReference : waste(c,t,r),     RowHeaderRange      : "A5:A2890",     ColumnHeaderRange   : "B2:KLH3",     DataRange           : "B5:KLH2890");  axll::CloseWorkBook(WorkBookName);     However, when i tried to run the procedure, there is warning/error as shown below:      Can anyone help me with this problem? Thank you in advance!

Hi,  I have an initial solution assigned to the two-dimensional variable x(i,j) .  How can I start solving the mathprogram using this initial solution? I did the following steps but I need details about the element parameter which is the second argument  in sendtosolversession?)   Thanks in advance read x from file “sol.txt”; myGMP := GMP::Instance::Generate(MyModel);  SolverSession :=GMP::Instance::CreateSolverSession(myGMP); GMP::Solution::SendToSolverSession(SolverSession, ???)

Hi,I know how to use CSS to change the color of a bar in AIMMS; @color19-1:     #808dc2;.mixin-color(color19-1;   @color19-1); And in this way I can use “color-19-1” to set my bar for example to green or red.Is there a way to use a gradient to color the bar? It is working for he background of a widget. But when I try the same logic on a bar in a chart it gets the default color.background-image: linear-gradient(red, yellow);

Hi!I was wondering if there are any recommendations regarding use of .json file within version control systems? Are any merging strategies better than the others?Almost every time when I am merging two branches, and each of these branches includes new elements (pages or widgets) in the WebUI I am getting merge conflicts. And manual solution of these conflicts could be somewhat of a surgical operation...Last week I had quite an extreme example of that. Both developers were adding new download and upload widgets, each on his/her respective page. When the file was merged (before conflict resolution), the lines that were identical in both files (e.g. declaring widget type, action type, opening and closing brackets) appear only once in the merged version, while lines with widget names and contents were appearing after each other. We have managed to solve it by comparing both version pre-merge and replicating some of the lines. But this is of course quite error-prone and time-consuming.

Hi dear community, I tried to follow the tutorial https://how-to.aimms.com/Articles/85/85-using-axll-library.html#importing-data-from-excel-files to read in some data from excel sheet. I’ve installed AIMMSXLLibrary and put the data file directly in the library folder under my project (not sure it is required or not) as shown in the screenshot. Then I created the procedure called “ReadInDataFromExcel” in my project and used the code as shown in screenshot. But when I tried to run the procedure to test whether it can point to the .xlsx file or not, the AIMMS through out this error : The identifier "WorkBookName" has not been declared. I’m not sure what’s going on since I almost copy the code from the website. Could anyone please help? Thanks!

I have two legend widgets in my app. And one is showing a search bar and one is not. How do I turn these on or off?I’m not certain how one ended up off, but I need to turn the other off too. Thanks!~Bon

Hi. I have a few questions to ask:

In the progress window, what exactly is means by (Gap = 0.04%)? is it 0.04% of optimality gap, or 4% of optimality gap, or something else?
and if it is 4% of optimality gap, does it means that 96% of it is the best solution, meanwhile 4% of it is the less best solution?
