I have a table in WebUI which can be filtered through the table. The user can interact with the table to select rows associated with certain plants, for example. I would then like the user to be able to select a button to automatically check a check box for the visible rows. There could be many rows and selecting each row individually is not desired. How, in WebUI, can I tell which rows are visible after the user applies filters?

Hi! Does anyone know how to create a function with multiple inputs and outputs? For example, there is a function edited with MATLAB that :“function [ dP,dQ,Pi,Qi ] = Unbalanced( n,m,P,Q,U,G,B,cita )”. How to model this function in AIMMS? Thank you very much!

We have multiple projects and I’d like to use the same code (that i’m writing) for each project. In this code, ideally, it would write the Project Title to the database, along with some other data. How can I access that Project Title via the aimms code?

I am using SetElementRename to rename one of my elements. However, each time I run the function, it claims that the element is specified in the model and cannot be renamed, but this element is not hard-coded in any part of the model.Has anyone actually got this function to work?

Dear All,I want to apply an interpolation formula to determine the value of a parameter. For example, a parameter that states the emission limit to achieve a net zero emission system has a value in 2025 of 1000 tons of CO2 and in 2050 the emission target is 0. How do I fill in the emission value between 2025 and 2050?Thank you for the advice given.

Is it possible to get a list of the IP addresses from which AIMMS PRO Cloud calls would come?E.g. if in your model you are using DEX to make a call to a web API endpoint, what is the IP address / IP range it comes from?Knowing this address/range could be used to restrict the access to the API endpoint to only AIMMS PRO platform instead of opening it up to the complete internet (which would add an additional layer of security besides oauth2 authentication)

Hi,I am solving a huge MIP (4446310 integer variables). I set the relative gap to 0% from CPLEX MIP settings. After 69532.16 sec (19.3 hours), the model stops running and the solver status says 'Terminated by solver' while the gap is 0.14%. Why does this happen? What are the possible causes? Thank you. Best regards,Wanie Saidi

Hi,I am currently working on a project using AIMMS, and I have a question regarding the declaration of data as Subsets and Parameters. I understand the basic concepts, but I am a bit confused about the difference between Subsets and Parameters. In my understanding, both Subsets and Parameters seem to serve similar purposes, but I am sure there are distinct differences between them. Could someone please explain the difference between Subsets and Parameters in AIMMA, and provide some examples of when to uses each?Thank you in advance for your help!

Hi @AIMMS Community Team, For one of our bespoke apps the name change file is way larger than it needs to be. Do you know if there's any AIMMS functionality to do a one-time compression/clean-up for a project?

As you know, cell values are shown black when they are read-only and blue otherwise as given below. I would like to be able to set a specific text color, regardless of whether it is read-only or not. I wonder if there is a way to do it?P.S. I know we can change the background color in a cell with annotation but there are times where I need to change both the background color and the text color.

For a test I am working on at the moment, I am using the DEX library to automatically generate an AIMMS library for a webservice based on the OpenAPI json spec. Unfortunately,  in one of the models I have a property with the following definition:"value": { "anyOf": [ { "type": "number" }, { "type": "string" } ], "title": "Value"} I am not responsible for the webservice, so did not know that something was changed (the anyOf). It took me a long time to figure out why after the api call was done there was no data anymore. I did not get any errors or warnings and I unfortunately forgot to check the CallErrorCode parameter. Finally, I was able to find what went wrong by modifying the generated callback procedure and replace the lineCallErrorCode := dex::ProtectedReadFromFile(ResponseFile('responsebody'), responsefileMapping('responsebody')) ;with a block/onerror do piece where I manually call the dex::ReadFromFile procedure allowing

Hi Folks,I have a string parameter sp_CommonButtonsStatus which is defined as either “Active” or “Hidden” based on a simple if-else condition and I want to use it to determine the state of a side panel as follows:data { ( 1, displayText ) : "Common Actions", ( 1, pageId ) : "common_buttons", ( 1, tooltip ) : "Common Actions", ( 1, icon ) : "aimms-play" , ( 1, state ) : "sp_CommonButtonsStatus"}Doesn’t work. Please tell me there is a simple way to do it, but I am missing it somehow 😁Best,Gorkem

Hello,I need help with implementing my model in Aimms. I want to implement a work staff optimizing model with on-call services. Hello and greetings,I have a question regarding the AIMMS tool. Can I know, if I have many data that need to be inserted in AIMMS by ticking the table for parameters, is there any alternative to ticking the table automatically without ticking them one by one manually like I did (refer to the to the figure below)

Hi community,Hope everyone is doing great. This is the first time I work on a Web UI and I am struggling with certain configurations that should be straightforward. Would appreciate it if someone could help solve the following: See Image 1) When creating the table “Input Cost” the identifier names on the first column are not the same as in the parameters. How can I adjust them? I also want to change to zero decimals but cannot find how to do so.See Image 2) How can I add units ($) to this chart and table? I tried creating a Quantity Identifier in AIMMS (backend), but then I cannot add it to the parameters nor to the chart.See Image 3) How can I add the “Results” page to the Navigation?See Image 4) In this chart, there are 4 series. In the totals toolbar of the configuration of the chart, I added the Total Sum. Now I would like to view only the Total, and disregard the original series’. How can I do this? Thanks in advance.Best,Felipe

Dear all I was using a DataLink library to export to excel. However, I have installed the latest version and this library is not there. I need to use DEX Library.I created a table and a data mapping to export it to excel.Below is the code. How could I implement it using DEX?Thanks for helping.----------------------------------------------------------------------The code was this dl::DataTables += 'Result2';DataMap(dl::dt,dl::idn,dl::cn,dl::dn) := data {    ( 'Result2', 'Scenarios', 1, 1 ) : "Scenarios",    ( 'Result2', 'Port', 2, 2 ) : "Port",    ( 'Result2', 'Destination', 3, 3 ) : "Destination",       ( 'Result2', 'Bidder', 4, 4 ) : "Bidder",       ! from fourRows.csv, read in a data pDem from a 3rd csv data column named "demand". This is a data column    ( 'Result2', 'TransportMode', 5, 5 ) : "TransportMode",    ( 'Result2', 'Days', 6, 6 ) : "Days",    ( 'Result2', 'ScenarioAllocation', 7, 0 ) : "ScenarioAllocation",    ( 'Result2', 'ForecastAllocation', 8, 0 ) : "ForecastAllocation

I got a question from @José Fernando Bosch Moreno and I thought it would be interesting to share here.I would like to develop an application for financial projections in which the user can add new parameters that contain formulas based in existing parameters. This is important because generally new calculations have to be developed by information specialist and the time to develop and include new formulations is long. I have developed information systems in which the user can add new calculations and I think AIMMS would be a good alternative to develop financial systems in which the user can add new formulation from the user interface without the need of an information specialist.

Hi,In my case, each plant has a different set of tanks, and the user is able to select one plant at a time. Whenever user selects a plant, the inventory level over time for each tank in the plant is shown on a graph - and the graphs need to be placed on top of each other. This was a behavior that could be achieved in WinUI easily, by creating an Indexed Page object and identifying a parameter for the Index Rows.  I am wondering if there is a way to achieve the same behavior within WebUI?

Hi,This is what it is: And this is how I want it to look like: Seems like entering empty spaces at the beginning of the String doesn’t work. Any ideas on how to do it?

Hi,I want to be able to change the fieldname of “sum” to “Zone Total” for only one table widget, say tbl_demand. I know we can change it in the fieldname.properties file, but this changes it for all the tables. So, is there a way to do it for only one table?

Hi,Is there a way to collapse the data over the aggregator in WebUI as it could be done easily in WinUI by the red circled buttons given below?

Hi community, With earlier versions of the webUI, I have played around with creating my own custom widgets (e.g. sankey diagrams using D3) for AIMMS. If I now go to the documentatation page about custom widgets (https://documentation.aimms.com/webui/own-widgets.html) I see that currently this framework is deprecated and should not be used until the new framework is made available. Is there anything known about when this new framework will be made available and I could give the custom widgets another try?

Show the infeasibility reason as in Excel it will have the command to show that the cell is wrong in red, how to apply the concept in AIMMS as to show that the infeasibility in which part clearly. Also to get suggestions from AIMMS on what needs to be changed by what.

Hi community! We recently updated our AIMMS tool to 24.3.2.2 (x64) and now we often run into the situation where a linechart displays a message about insufficient resolution. This widget happens to only become visible once we toggle something in the side panel on the right. After we do that, this linechart becomes visible but the message shows. If we refresh the page with F5, the graph shows as in the second picture below. If we then toggle in the side panel again, the other linechart is not shown with a similar error message so the problem doesn’t seem to be widget specific. Interestingly, the problem doesn’t occur when we enable to show hidden widgets in the top right (then both are ‘shown’ but one of the two is greyed out).Any help on how we can resolve this issue is much appreciated!

Hi there, This might be a trivial question, but what's the easiest way of extracting a list of "active" constraints from a math program? Essentially I want the list of constraints names in the Math Program Inspector, exported into a text file. The reason behind this requirement is that I have two very similar LPs that I want to compare, to identify why they differ.I've tried: the constraints listing file (too large / complex and some formatting differences make it difficult to DIFF), exporting AllConstraints. What other options are available? Thanks!
